Spent the night at the ER with sister. Nothing's changed again. All the tests come back the same as ever. But even knowing beforehand that that's the most likely outcome, not going isn't really an option as far as I'm concerned. Never know if this is the time when things do take a turn for the worse. So I found out that my parents are going to be on vacation for Christmas and New Years, which is both good news and bad. It's the first time I won't have to celebrate Christmas. Lately I've taken up crocheting again, it's sort of nice even if half of thhe things I make turn out... eh... a bit different than I meant to (I'll get better). My friend has her birthday tomorrow and I needed a quick present, so I made these.

Seriously. Romance is so dead. Just saying.

I found Irn-Bru!! In my little town.

And the world just became a little bit better.

Except it's ridiculously expensive and I'm not supposed to drink anything fizzy. :(

But... Irn-Bru! Just knowing this makes me happy. :D

I went to the cottage party last Friday. It turned out to be a lot less bad than what I'd expected. In fact, things went pretty smoothly all things considered and most people seemed to enjoy themselves most of the time. Today this happened Cross-country skier Mika Myllyllä dies aged 41It's just sad how his life turned out after his skiing career ended the way it did. Not that this was much of a surprise. I saw him last on Sunday and he was in anything but good shape. Actually I briefly thought that maybe it'd be better if he died, since maybe that's the only way ( Read more... )
